With an innumerable crowd of faithful, the seventh day of the Novena for Peace was once again experienced in a deep, prayerful silence—expectant, awaiting the moment when our Mother from Heaven would come to earth.
Accompanying the visionary Marija Pavlović-Lunetti, as on the previous days, were Monsignor Jan Sobilo, the Ukrainian bishop, along with the metropolitan archbishop emeritus of San Salvador de Bahia in Brazil, Monsignor Murilo Sebastião Ramos Krieger, as well as numerous priests and religious of various confessions.
“When Our Blessed Mother came, she looked at all of us and immediately began to pray over us. After the prayer, I asked the Virgin to pray before her Son Jesus for peace—in our hearts, in our families, and in the whole world. The Virgin began to pray for peace and prayed in her native language, Aramaic, for a long time. She blessed all of us and also blessed all the religious items today. She made the Sign of the Cross, blessed us, and peacefully returned to Heaven,” Marija recounted at the end of the apparition, which began at 5:00 AM and lasted a little over four minutes.
Afterwards, a new crown of flowers was placed on the head of the image of the Queen of Peace, and the visionary Marija distributed white roses to the first people who came forward to receive them. These roses had been at the feet of the Virgin during the apparition.
As on each day of the Novena, the Magnificat, the Litany of Loreto, and the simple prayer of St. Francis for peace were prayed. The gathering concluded with the blessing from the two bishops present, and the prayer encounter at Apparition Hill ended with the Creed, the 7 Our Fathers, Hail Marys, and Glory Bes at the Blue Cross.
