At the apparition of Our Blessed Mother, this morning, on Apparition Hill, the novena for peace in the world began, led by visionary Marija Pavlović-Lunetti.
In yesterday’s apparition, Sunday, June 15th—the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity—Our Blessed Mother asked the visionary to climb the hill and pray for nine days, and to invite everyone to join in prayer for this intention, where She would appear each day at 5:00 a.m.
The rosary began at the Blue Cross at 4:30 a.m., and from there, the group climbed the hill to the place where the image of the Queen of Peace is located.
At the end of the apparition, visionary Marija said:
“During the time of the apparition, I entrusted the Virgin with all of us, all our intentions, and everything we carry in our hearts—especially all those who are sick in body and soul. The Virgin prayed for a long time for peace—peace in our hearts, in our families, and in the whole world. She blessed us all and returned peacefully to Heaven.”
Afterward, the Prayer of St. Francis, “Make Me an Instrument of Your Peace,” was prayed in Croatian. This time, unlike last year, there was no translation into other languages. Then, Marija distributed some white roses among those present and added: “Go in peace, see you tomorrow at 5.”
Thus concluded the first day of the novena for the 44th Anniversary of the Queen of Peace, at dawn on Podbrdo.
