Let us pray for all the sick in the world

Message, 14. August 1984 – (Apparition from Our Blessed Mother in Medjugorje to Ivan – Tuesday, the Eve of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary)

This apparition was unexpected. Ivan was praying at home. After that he started to get ready to go to Church for the evening services. By surprise, Our Lady appeared to him and told him to relate to the people. “I would like the people to pray along with me these days. And to pray as much as possible! And to fast strictly on Wednesdays and Fridays, and every day to pray at least one Rosary: the joyful, sorrowful and glorious mysteries.” Our Lady asked that we accept this message with a firm will. She especially requested this of the parishioners and the faithful of the surrounding places.

Prayer:

Prayer for the Sick (Jelena Vasilj, June 22, 1985)

“O my God,
 this sick person who is before You
 has come to ask for what they consider most important;
 what they want, they believe it is the most important thing.
 But You, God, place these words in their heart:
 ‘It is important to be healthy in the soul.’
 Lord, let Your holy will be done in everything concerning them!
 If You will it, let them receive health.
 If it is Your will,
 let them continue to carry their cross.
 And I pray for us,
 who are praying for them;
 Cleanse our hearts so that we may be worthy
 to share Your holy graces through us.
 Protect them and ease their pain.
 Let Your holy will be fulfilled in them,
 and may Your holy love be revealed in them.
 Help them to courageously bear their cross.'”

Then pray 3 times Glory Be.
