Prayer program in Medjugorje through Easter three days and on Easter

Easter is on Sunday, March 31. Holy Masses in the parish church are at 7, 8, 11 am and 6 pm. Holy Masses in local churches are at 10 am. There is no Holy Mass for the children in the parish church.

On Holy Thursday, March 28, there is no Holy Mass or confession in the morning. Rosary is at 5 p.m., Holy Mass at 6 p.m.

There are no rituals in the church in the morning of Good Friday – March 29. The Way of the Cross for parishioners and Croatian pilgrims is at Cross Mountain at 11 a.m. Rosary is at 4 p.m., and Good Friday rites at 5 p.m. Good Friday is a day of strict fasting and penance. On Good Friday, the alms are collected for the Holy Land during the veneration of the cross.

On Holy Saturday – March 30, the rosary begins at 8 p.m., and the Easter vigil at 9 p.m.

The opportunity for confession during the Easter Triduum is from 4 p.m. On these days, all priests participate in the evening prayer program, so when the Holy Mass or rites begin, there is no more confession. Therefore, we ask the faithful to, if possible, confess before the Easter Triduum.

On Easter, after the morning Holy Mass, an Easter raffle will be held, all for the charity purposes. The action was organized by the YouFra and secular Franciscans who collected your gifts and donations during the Lent.
